Adoption Stories
We have saved 1,850+ homeless dogs since we began operations in 2019! We work to rescue, rehabilitate & rehome abandoned & abused pets in Central Texas & to achieve NO-KILL status for all animal rescues & shelters in our area. The dogs we save are rescued from the streets, hoarding situations and from high-kill shelters. Without our intervention, they face pain, suffering, and eventually an untimely death.

Bernie
Bernie was 1 of a litter of 4 pups abandoned in rural Central Texas. HOT-PAWS first fostered the pups until we could get them on a transport to Spokane, where we knew they could find forever homes. Bernie found his forever home with Gretchen!
What’s so fun is that Gretchen did Bernie’s DNA with Embark Vet. We thought they might be chow mix pups & she confirmed that we were right! Sounds like he’s going to have a wonderful life with Gretchen!

Dixie was rescued by an oil rig crew in Texas & HOT-PAWS helped her find her forever home on Long Island, New York!
